About Flawed Masterpiece®

 

Founded in 2021 by award-winning attorney and filmmaker Joy White®, Flawed Masterpiece® is a personal development, urban wellness and lifestyle brand. But more than just a brand, it's really a movement. Joy wanted to inspire Black women, women of color, and single mothers to live courageously and unapologetically in their truth by providing a carefully curated full sensory immersion into art, dance, music, meditation, travel, wellness merchandise, and transformational wellness and self-care retreats and workshops.

Purpose

Flawed Masterpiece® encourages Black women to highlight and celebrate the scars that remain after painful and traumatizing life experiences. Infusing the ancient Japanese art form of Kintsugi, it is about learning to see the beauty in your brokenness.

Mission

Our mission is to create an urban personal development and lifestyle brand that inspires Black women and young women of color to live unapologetically and authentically, heal from trauma, and thrive by finding beauty in their scars. The brand combines elements of faith, mindfulness, resistance, optimism, mental illness, and shame resilience. 

Journey

Flawed Masterpiece® guides it's customers on a reflective and transformational journey of self-discovery that will help them transform shame into radical self-acceptance. Raw, real, and unapologetic, Flawed Masterpiece® encourages all women to take back their joy.
